Nalder House is an early Victorian building that was listed due to its heritage significance as the manufacturing base of the Nalder Company. Nalder was at the forefront of agricultural advancement in the 19th Century, manufacturing engineering products that improved the efficiency of arable farming in their day.
Its village location and the loss of industrial use has led to the need for the building to be
converted to apartments so that the heritage asset can be protected.
