Masterplanning

The site, on the north eastern edge of the village of Kingston Bagpuize has been allocated in the Vale of the White Horse District Council’s emerging Local Plan for 280 dwellings. In addition, a parcel of land was also set aside to house a community facility.

 

It is intended that the village green will form the heart of the proposed development, with a variety of house types and architectural details being utilised to create the impression that it has organically evolved over time. A landscaped bund and informal parkland will shield the dwellings form the road noise of the A420 and the woodland to the east of the site will be retained.
