We have sought to provide a modern stimulating architectural approach on a brown-field site that offers a more appropriate land use and in terms of scale and massing addresses the rural settlement edge.
Oak framed veranda reflects agricultural structures and creates sense of facade layering whilst providing solar shading and modelling. Traditional materials provide softening of form against rural edge whilst the modern form provides distinctiveness and character
Brickwork reflects materials palette of adjacent houses.
